Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actress who is best recognized for her role as Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran from 2015 until current. For the Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she portrayed 13-year-old Lebanese American girl Jasira who experiences a whirlwind of emotions as a result in the context of U.S. invasion in Iraq during the Gulf War. In 2007, she was chosen by Variety to be one of their 10 actors to watch. The 2009 film Crossing Over, in which she portrayed the powerful character Taslima Jhangir and was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award as the best female lead. Her other film roles include Moozlum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake, as well as several guest appearances on television.
